Buddhist Mind

In these times there is a lot of uncertainty. Job losses, financial stress, physical and mental health and so much more. The list of unknowns is more than this world has ever seen.

This uncertainty can draw out our greatest fears - for our selves, family and kids. Anxiety and worry creeps in and it can consume us.

We pray that God knows our path and will keep us safe.
We meditate and set intentions for our future selves.
We exercise to increase our mental health.

Yet sometimes those feelings still remain.

When anxiety or worry hits you, remind yourself of the Buddhist Mind. "Freedom from not knowing what's next." or Be present. Enjoy your current moments.

Whatever it is you are doing, if anxiety or worry hits, just yell STOP! either outward or internally. And use this as an affirmation. Buddhist Mind - Freedom from not knowing what's next. Savor my present moment.

It's a reminder to stop going through life on Rote, while worrying about your future.

Your kids grow so fast. Your family moves apart sometimes. Your friends come and go. Whatever it is that you are doing, enjoy the now. We can only control the future so much.

Enjoy the present moments before they become your forgotten past.
