Fight Light in the Darkness

If you ever feel like the world is crashing down on you, and you are hit with depression, suicidal thoughts, or hopelessness, tell yourself 'Be a Flower'. Then look for the light.

The light comes in many forms.

Reaching out and making a phone call for help.
Practice techniques you've learned for self-care: a bubble bath, meditation, prayer, a walk in nature.
Listen to a motivational podcast.
Watch a comedy movie.

It may not make the darkness go away that instant, but reaching for the light is still growth and necessary for your wellbeing while you wait for the darkness to pass.

Be a Flower. Reach for the light.
